Lobby stairs at the Aronoff Center for Arts
I really enjoyed this project and designing the rest of the collateral for Cincinnati Ballet's production of Wizard of Oz in the fall of 2019. The design of the individual bricks is rather simplistic. I made 7 to 10 versions in Photoshop and then assembled them in strips. The pattern repeat was the tricky part. Once I figured out the repeat and how to make each step look like a random pattern, the rest was pretty straight forward. The brick design was printed and installed by Arnold Printing on vinyl to the rise of each step. The end result was fun and whimsical.
I created a lot of fun peices for marketing this ballet and to activate the lobby. Performance Poster
I make these in 3 sizes the two bigger sizes are displayed in the box office in special cases at the Aronoff Center for Arts and in on the sidewalk around the building.
Postcard
At this time in 2019, mailing our patrons was still the best way to reach the older part and largest group of our customers. I would create two to five postcards for every show. Some with sales offers some with out.
Lobby Signs
These Lobby signs were printed on Chloroplast by Fastsigns. They are 24" x 36", displayed on easels in the lobby during a performance.

Print Ad
This is a print ad I created for Cincinnati Magazine. Similar print ads ran in Cincinnati Enquirer, Cincinnati Parent, Cincinnati Family, and Children's Theater and Playhouse In The Park programs.
Coffee Sleeve
Cincinnati Ballet partnered with a local coffee house, Coffee Emporium, who put our Wizard of Oz coffee sleeves on all their to-go-coffee cups for a month or two leading up to our production.
